Kirsten Howe, Featured Speaker – Free Financial Planning Workshops at Walnut Creek Library

WALNUT CREEK — Finance 101, presented by the Walnut Creek Library Foundation, is a series of four free financial workshops offered on Monday afternoons starting Oct. 16 in which experts will discuss tax implications on retirement income, cyber security, estate planning and planning for nursing home expenses.

The sessions are “Investing for the Life You Deserve — Today and Tomorrow,” with financial adviser Tatia MacKinnon, Oct. 16; “Savvy Cyber Security: 10 Threats Every Person & Business Faces — and How to Fight Them,” with presenters George Noceti and Paul Noceti, Oct. 23; “Estate Planning — What You Really Need to Know,” with presenter Gordon Baker, Oct. 30; and Estate Planning Attorney, Oct. 30l; and “Can Medi-Cal Help You Pay Your Nursing Home Expenses?” with presenter Kirsten Howe, Nov. 6.
